The various threats that the Cisco VOIP and Avaya VOIP have included outright denial to service attacks, infiltrating voice mailboxes, collection of data belonging to customers, and recording of customers’ conversations among others.
Some companies which regularly use VOIP services have invested their money in research to find out the fundamental advantages and disadvantages of both Cisco VOIP and Avaya VOIP Systems.
Some people who have used Avaya VOIP systems in the past reckon that it is the worst on the market. Their opinions are however not qualified. But since they are experts, you can rely on their opinions for guidance.
The Avaya VOIP system is said to be short sighted and sophomoric most of the time that it is in use. If you want to make any kind of changes to your VOIP server, you will have to reboot. This is a loss in terms of calls that are made during the reboot period.
Getting an Avaya VOIP system license is not an easy procedure. At least two licenses are required before you can connect a soft phone on the Avaya VOIP system. This particular system does not have a voicemail system that can act specifically as a data storage backup.
This means that if any unfortunate event occurs and you subsequently lose the voicemail server, there is no any other avenue through which you will restore the voicemail, especially the data section.
The problem with Avaya VOIP is that even if you have backup you will not successfully be able to retrieve the voicemails. The Avaya technical service system is also not that up to date.
The Cisco VOIP system on the other hand has a technical support system that will leave you fully satisfied, which leaves many people putting their confidence in it in comparison to others. Cisco VOIP systems have been on the market for a relatively short period of time.
The Cisco VOIP has good networking systems. In Cisco VOIP the requirements for routing based on your physical environment are not that intensive compared to Avaya VOIP. In Cisco VOIP the routing can be done by a relatively fewer number of technicians.
The quality of call center services offered by Cisco VOIP is of low quality compared to those that are offered by its greatest competitor in the VoIP market. However, it has the best services on data networking. Other than being the best in offering networking services, this is a clearly superior system as it also offers scripting services to its clients. If your business organization has been relying on digital networks to offer phone services, then it is time you changed to VOIP systems.
Both Cisco VOIP and Avaya VOIP have several advantages and disadvantages, some of which are discussed here. Make a wise choice for your business.
